Kyle Gordy Set To Father 100 Babies: Discover Surprising Health Benefits Of Sperm Donation

SummaryAmerican man Kyle Gordy has already fathered 87 kids across the world and is set to touch the 100 mark. While there is still a social stigma around sperm donation, people are now discovering its health benefits.

Kyle Gordy, a 32-year-old from California, US, is set to make history as one of the most prolific sperm donors in the world. He has already fathered 87 children and by the end of this year, Gordy is expected to reach the remarkable milestone of 100 offspring. If he succeeds in doing so, he will join a small cohort of three other men who have done the same.

"It feels great to be a dad of so many children. I love that I've helped all these women start families when they thought this wouldn't be possible. But I am a long way off from making a significant impact on the world's overall population. And so, for that, I’m only just getting started," he recently told the press.

Gordy, whose oldest child is now 10, has no specific target for the number of children he wishes to father. He said that he wants to keep donating as long as the world needs him. He said I don't have a goal number of children I'd like to have. I think I’ll keep making babies until women no longer need me.

Operating through the website Be Pregnant Now, Gordy provides his services free of charge and has built a following of over 3,000 on Instagram. He currently has 14 children on the way in countries including England, Scotland, Sweden, and Norway. Looking ahead, Gordy plans to expand his global reach in 2025, with trips to countries like Japan, Ireland, and other parts of Europe.

Reflecting on his lifestyle, Gordy expressed pride in his unique contributions. "I’ve helped people conceive all across the globe, which is something most people would think is unbelievable. I’m still yet to have children in Japan, Ireland, and Korea. Maybe 2025 will be the year I do that. Who knows? I might have a child in each country by 2026," he concluded.

What Is Sperm Donation?

Sperm donation is used across the world for artificial insemination of women facing reproductive issues with a third-party donor (AID). While the donor is the biological father of the baby, he cannot claim any social or legal rights. The first mention of this reproductive technique was in 1909 when Medical World detailed an artificial insemination that was conducted in Philadephia in 1884 with sperm harvested from a donor. William Pancoast used the sperm of the best-looking member of the class. While this practice was highly condemned at that time, taboos are reducing as more awareness spreads on reproductive and sexual health.

Are There Any Health Benefits Of Sperm Donation?

Science says that regular masturbation helps in strengthening the pelvic floor muscles which aid in the prevention of erectile dysfunction (ED) and male incontinence. Sperm Donation can also increase your immunity as ejaculation has been shown to increase the levels of cortisol (a hormone) that helps to cultivate immunity. Lastly, masturbation during sperm donation can help you release stress and trigger the release of feel-good hormones.
