The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall for specific batches of six brands of eggs. The reason? Possible salmonella contamination. How to know if contaminated? As per CFIA, the food that is contaminated with salmonella may not look or even smell spoiled. However, it makes people sick. People who have a weakened immune system, older people, pregnant women and young children are at the greater risk.
